Aesthetics

My aesthetic is my soul.

See how deep it’s shining light glows?

My aesthetic is my mind.

For its intellectual ability is truly divine.

My aesthetic is my voice.

From my pitch to my word choice.

My aesthetic is who I be, not what this world try to make me.

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
