Poem Commentary

This is an acrostic I came up with a couple of winters ago when I was feeling disillusioned with life in general. I hope that you can see what it's actually saying (hint: it's not actually about sledding). It no longer applies, but I still wanted to share the poem

Acrostic

Today, he is sledding iced streets. A city's rain yet freezes on roads here; every lad's pastime

Well-written (I did get it but I'm not saying what it is bc I think other readers need to figure out out too). I love the cleverness behind it.

Great, I'm glad you understood it. Thank you so much for your feedback

In science one tries to tell people, in such a way as to be understood by everyone, something that no one ever knew before. But in poetry, it's the exact opposite.

Franz Kafka (1883-1924) Czech writer.
