    Poem Commentary

writing as i would presume a man would write it about a woman.

A woman to come home to.

A woman to come home to.

    ...

Her eyes glint, as summer's day, when first we

glimpsed each other's play, and in those eyes, a special

Sparkle, burst life's laugh, it's full of wonder,

Now for the moment, now for all time, to love

    Her forever,

           forever in my mind,

a woman to come home to.

The smile when, she heard my name, made curious

About, all that remained, as spoken by, the angles

Sing, burned deep in my heart, as in other things, for I

Knew at that moment, knew for all time, I wanted

    Her forever,

            forever in my mind,

a woman to come home to.

The outstretched arms, reaching out meet, a certain way

When, we first complete, the act of love and feel to stay,

No need to wonder, or wander away, and know

a tender love, a life sublime, I want

    Her forever,

           forever in my mind,

a woman to come home to.

    P.A.

okay this is better... the other one is a duplicate and should be deleted written in a man's perspective....

Poetry is finer and more philosophical than history; for poetry expresses the universal, and history only the particular.

Aristotle (384 BC-322 BC) Greek philosopher.
