    A Single Tear

As the wetness roles slowly down
Emotions are high and all I can do is frown
Dreams are shattered, hopes are gone
The meaness and hatred that's said is done
The drop of water that fills my eyes
Drops slowly down and I start to cry
It starts slowly at first, as one single tear
Then here they come, and it makes me fear
Once they start how can they stop?
The tears are flowing drop by drop
The sadness that's there really makes you blue
Is there any end to this? Can I see this through?
My face is wet now with the many tears
I'm heart-broken and lost from the many years
Dealing with the sadness that is with us all
I just feel like I'm going to drop down and fall
When the tears slow I let my face dry
Then the wetness comes again and I start to cry
The single tear comes down my face
It rolls along the curves of it with grace.
