    A new beginning

    Love is a slippery slope
    In a room painted taupe

In a house made of stone
Neither of us wants to be alone

With the dimming of the light
And a mood that’s just right

With a grin and a giggle
    You make my heart jiggle

My first look in those eyes of blue
    I knew
That our love would be true

A better man I promise to be
    If you will choose me

On the spot; I made a plan
Over our lifetime; it would span

    You changed my life
    When you became my wife

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.
