A Mothers Love
As I sit in lonely silence and my past I now review..
I can say in all acquaintances,
Only one who's love was true.
She was always kind and loving,
One you could not help adore,
But she's gone to serve her master.
that awaits on yonder shores.
One night she called me to her bedside
and whispered low that we must part
in words that almost broke my heart.
I know someday we'll meet again
In heaven is where we agreed to meet,
And once again we'll be together
kneeling down at Jesus feet,
Sharing the love that's so unique.
