    A LESSON LEARNED

    Love,

    Love in my life

    Love of my life

Watched you walk out of my life

Taking heart strings one at a time

    One with each stride

    Love! That wonderful thing

    Left me orphan

    Without a home in you

    Love,

    Love in my life

    Once more

    Love of my life

    I gave my heart thrice

    Because you were nice

    Now it’s all ice

    Leveling my soul

    I have turned cold

    Here I am again

    Loving this man

    Pledging life to the end

Love teaches you to let go

    Hold out

    Be alone,

    But it also teaches me

    Bliss and sweet serenity!

    So here I am

    Holding out

    My hand,

    Loving this man

    Waiting to be

    Your baby Grand

    With keys to be plucked

    And strummed by you

    I’m back in the classroom

    Of love

This time as gentle and meek

    As a dove

    Hoping the lesson will change

    Because life and attitude

    Has been rearranged.

    Sitting in Love’s classroom

I’ve finally figured the lesson out:

    Hearts never learn lessons,

    It’s the mind that doubts!

My sweet God , i hope you keep writing sharing your writing , and this struggle and plight we fight ...

If I feel physically as if the top of my head were taken off, I know that is poetry.

    Emily Dickinson (1830-1886) American poet.
