    a different me

i used to be foul like a referee whistle, many dark storms left my life in a prisim. what i didnt know was many colors were shining from that light and the battle was in my mind and i won that fight. but i lost tha war cause everyone thinks im crazy, i dont think their hating they just look at me under estimating, the power that my lord has put in store. I dont love money but id love to get more, gotta get to tha church to pay my ties, listen to that word to get my soul in line. im a peculiar treasure theres non like my kind, cause im a jewel up in heaven ,im the lords stone rine, see many girls that i think is so fine, but if im not on my A ill catch em some other time. get it together and only flirt with dimes ,and let them know ive changed ,so try to love a different me this time!

Sounds like a rap, but good.

The true philosopher and the true poet are one, and a beauty, which is truth, and a truth, which is beauty, is the aim of both.

Ralph Waldo Emerson, American Poet (1803-1882)
