a dance of tongues

a dance of tongues

we kissed in an uncles bathroom
two mouths intertwined, the sound of the stereo humming through the walls
my first love, my girl crush
small and petite
eyes dark as coffee
your kiss was sweet, your hands grabbing my body
in that moment we were one
the music stopped, we stood back
returning to the party with smeared gloss and butterflies that would never die

well written and expresses the feelings perfectly.......

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.

John F. Kennedy (1917-1963) Thirty-fifth President of the USA
