A THOUGHT FOR TODAY

READ OREN COUSINS' REDEMPTION SONG

Redemption Song is a monument erected in Emancipation Park, Kingston, Jamaica, Ju;y 2003, to commemorate the 170th, year of the abolishment of sl;avery in British territories,
It consiss of two gigantic bronze nudes (a man and a woman) facing each other and standing in a fountain.
There was a national furore when it was unveiled. Since then, this monument is tolerated, treated with indifferenc and even admired,
