America Stopped Singing and Started Slinging Words



We need new emotion, let's gather group

Let me tell you about the plastic soup

We as humanity are Adolphins to the sea

Litter gathers in the middle of the ocean

With no drain to set it free,

Do you want to eat some fish with me?



We poets in the 21st century

shall need to be, shall I say a hit man,

We have to make the greats proud

A tip of the hat from Walt Whitman



You have to connect with your reader,

They are the mountain to climb

Hit ‘em like a meteor

Hey!

Right?

A poet by day, and a poet by night



You just think you do, that’s all you do

You just think you do, who doesn’t care to loose

Ah no one makes a wish anymore,

they’re all on the ocean floor

I don’t look at the world like vomit

But sometimes I wish I was a comet
