RE: The Reaper has returned!!!/ Cheronld..........LET US PRAY

LET US PRAY. FRIENDS, Fof Cheronld, who has lost a dear frined ,and is taking it very hard.

A poem dedicated to Cheronld;

Cher, punish not thyself.
Weep your tears. O weep
Like the rains of Spring
To melt the snow from your heart..
Seek thou warm regions of light.
Withdraw thyself not in darkness to depart.

They prove more valiant to show.
Where resilience not reticence allows to glow,
When cruel tragedy slips the gate ,
Bent on to unhinge the weakened mind.

Then from utmost sorrow we must leave,
From courage fountain we must drink,
Though fortitude seems no more to be
Your friend when most needed by thee.

There need be strength to bear
The storm that glowers around thee
Lose not thy compass, in despair's seas,
Ride thou the waves of cruel fate .

Though fraught with tragedy the course,
' To harbour of courage you must bear.
Desperation are the rocks and reef
Among them to safe haven you must steer
Not a wreck upon the lonely shore
Lost, a sorry prey to rust and decay.

Go forth armed with hope and faith,
Troubles and tribulation to fight.
You may not win all the battles fierce,
But retreat not from the fray,
Be a victor of the ongoing war of life.
Go forth armed with hope and faith.

Poetry is not the expression of personality but an escape from personality.

T. S. Eliot (1888-1965) American-English poet and playwright.
