"Poet Tries To Inspire Oil-Hit Fishermen"

Poet Margie Scoby penned a poem titled "Vessels Of The Bayou" five years ago, shortly after Hurricane Katrina. She's collected more than 300 signatures from locals endorsing her poem, pertaining to their thoughts about their chosen career as South Louisiana Fishermen.

... a mother ... who cares ... reaching out ... thinking about people ... caring about children ... needs ... inspiring ... passionate ... exactly what the world needs ... especially today ............ I haven't read her poem ... yet ..........
