Come Home (by KtIrish)

Come Home

I lit a candle in the window for you,
My love, My lost.
I lit a candle not knowing what to do,
To bring you home to me.

I keep it burning, shining bright,
My love, My lost.
I keep it burning day and night,
To guide you home to me.

I will the stars to shine for you,
My love, My lost.
The stars will shine, and my heart will too,
Until you are home with me.

This is unquestionablY a chant form heart yearning for love. I love the insistent repetiton of the chorus word. "home". Very effective versification I am beginning to admire Kt Irish's unigue skill in weaving her poetry with precfsely the right momosyllabic and dissyllabic words . She has a good style going!

THIS POETESS HAS CLASS! SHE HAS A GOOD , SNAPPY THING GOING! FIRWEWORKS AS SHE MATURES MORE AND MORE!..............................LOL

When power leads man towards arrogance, poetry reminds him of his limitations. When power narrows the area of man's concern, poetry reminds him of the richness and diversity of existence. When power corrupts, poetry cleanses.
