GRITO CONTEST WINNER?? WHY NOT??

RE: GRITO CONTEST WINNER?? WHY NOT??

Dear Cousinsoren,

I want to thank you for being kind and showing love toward Ivan (Grito). I agree with you...I think that in such a moment of despair and anguish, we his fellow poets can send him love through victory....not because he is ill but because he rightfully deserves one. His mind is unique...eloquent, if I may. His imagination...always vivid and the love and dedication that he has shown throughout the time he has blessed us with his pieces, are always sincere and warm.

Count my vote toward his VICTORY!

With much love and respect and binded in prayers....

THANKS FOR INFORMING ME., jOHN/ I DID READ "Blue Inca light" and was mystified by its trememdous intonations and resonance. That it was a winner missed me.

HI, SaVVySam,

Wordslinger just informed me that Grito won with "Blue Inca Light'" in December last year or in January 2010. I was not aware. Accept my apology for misleading you and others. But then,it appears not many OP members know.

RE: GRITO CONTEST WINNER?? WHY NOT??

I might say this in retrospect……..I don’t know if Ivan would want to be
chosen as poet of the week without fighting for it. I think that we should
show him how we feel about him and his poetry, by leaving a comment
on his homepage. I think it would be more appropriate.
Just my thinking…
